    After several years of being closed for a multi-million dollar overhaul, a historic swimming pool in Mission Beach is hoping to once again make a splash in San Diego’s history.  Join ULI San Diego – Tijuana for a behind the scenes project tour of the reimagined Plunge Pool that was the original centerpiece for San Diego’s Belmont Park. The ocean-front pool is now a state of the art fitness center operated by Fit.  
     
    Jules Wilson Design Studio was responsible for the full redesign of the facility, from the conceptual architecture to interior design. The firm worked with lead architect James Gates Architecture, Pacifica Enterprises, and Lusardi to realize the overall vision of the project, taking care to preserve the history of Southern California’s oldest and largest swimming pool.  Learn more about the renovation and view the press release here. 

    Following a tour of the new facility, ULI members will enjoy cocktails and snacks on the rooftop overlooking the ocean. Together, we will say goodbye to some of our key leaders including Heather Foley, ULI’s executive director for the past three years.  It will be a great opportunity to connect with old friends and make new connections.
