The ULI San Diego – Tijuana healthy places awards recognize the places, the faces and the policies that contribute to improved physical, social and environmental well-being in the communities where we live work and play.  Education and outreach around the Healthy Places Initiative is the cornerstone of our program of work.  We explore the intersection of food and real estate, smart building and smart city technology, transportation and infrastructure solutions that promote active transportation choices and housing affordability solutions.  The Healthy Places Awards recognize development projects and public policies that demonstrate excellence in design, imaginative problem solving and incorporates key principles for creating healthy and vibrant communities.  Award-winning projects and policy will promote economic vibrancy, environmental and public health goals.
