North County Product Council is a group of 20-25 senior professionals who share a common professional interest in addressing the development challenges in North County communities. The group will meet monthly. All members will actively participate in the meetings in addition to assisting in the coordination or hosting one of them. The topics or activities of the meetings will be decided jointly by the group at the beginning of the year.

The purpose is to convene leaders from private and public sector to share resources, best practices and lessons learned. Cultivate a culture of trust and collaboration and help lead the region towards a more prosperous, equitable and sustainable future.

Membership

Members will apply for the group at the beginning of the year and shall be selected on a first come first serve basis but must meet minimum criteria to gain entrance. As the goal of the group is to maintain a varied range of perspectives, the group will try to maintain a diverse group of professionals that work within the industry in the North County communities. Some examples may include, developers, land use lawyers, equity investors, architects, civil engineers, policy makers, or code and legal framework consultants.

Criteria for Membership

• The individual must be a principal or key decision maker at the organization he/she works.
• The individual must have active projects in the North County area of the San Diego – Tijuana region.
• The individual must be an Associate Member over the age of 35 or a Full Member of ULI.

North County Product Council membership applications are currently closed. Applications are open annually from January 1st-31st.
