ULI San Diego-Tijuana has an active Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) which hosts monthly meetings and special event opportunities for any interested ULI member or nonmember.

WLI’s programming seeks to advance four core objectives:

• Promote the advancement of women, throughout their careers and as leaders in the real estate industry.
• Increase the number of women who serve in leadership positions in the real estate industry and in ULI.
• Increase the visibility of women leaders in the real estate industry and in ULI.
• Increase the number of women who are active ULI Full members, and support the development of young women members as leaders in ULI and in their professions.

Ask Me Anything Speakers Series 

Our popular monthly happy hour series highlights a local woman professional making a meaningful impact in our community and our industry. On the last Wednesday of each month, we convene for an intimate and fun conversation delving deep into a wide range of topics. These events aim to provide a mix of education, reflection and camaraderie while connecting with new and established colleagues. 

Women’s Leadership Symposium 

Our signature annual event hosts national woman leaders for an evening of discussion on making change in our world. WLI’s planning committee selects a unique topic and format each year, ensuring a program that responds to our current moment in a meaningful way. 

Binational Exchange 

Celebrating the unique cross-border culture of the San Diego-Tijuana region, our annual Binational Exchange connects leaders from Mexico and the US for a series of tours, panel discussion and networking.
