Morena Boulevard is an integral artery from Friars Road to Balboa Avenue within the city of San Diego connecting Linda Vista, Claremont, and Bay Park.  It is ripe for redevelopment, new development, and key infrastructure investments.  Clairemont is in the midst of a community plan update.  Linda Vista and Bay Park are subject to the Morena Blvd Station Area Specific Plan.  With simultaneous planning efforts underway, how will the communities come together to ensure a cohesive growth strategy, create opportunities for active and alternative transit options, and how much appetite do the communities have for change.  We will learn more about the development opportunities and what those at the center of the discussion see for the future.

  • Moderated by: Matt Winter
  • Panelists: Mike Prinz, Planner, City of San Diego; Glenn Schmidt, Schmidt Design Group, and Perry Dealy, Dealy Development
