Good morning,
I’m writing to update you on ULI San Diego-Tijuana’s programming, calendar, and activities in light of the recent public health situation.
Following best practice precautionary measures in dealing with the coronavirus outbreak, our in-person group events have been postponed until we know more. We are hoping to reschedule in the next few months. Until then, we will strive to provide relevant and quality educational content for our members and to the land-use community at large.
What you can expect from us In the next few weeks, ULI San Diego-Tijuana members can expect announcements regarding unique virtual events, like Q&A’s, webinars, and interviews. These unique circumstances present a great opportunity to learn from one another – how are members dealing with this crisis in their business, their teams, and their community? We will also be releasing new content through our newsletter and other avenues highlighting local leaders and projects.
The benefits of your membership will not change in this period. Local members like you are the lifeblood of ULI, and we will be counting on your support and expertise to continue our mission. If there is a topic you feel is worthy of an upcoming ULI event, webinar or communication, please share it with us by emailing [email protected].
Finally, we have some wonderful news to announce for the San Diego – Tijuana District Council.
My term as Chair will conclude at the end of our fiscal year in June. After a thorough search for the next leader of our council, we have selected Brian Mooney, Principal at Rick Engineering as the incoming District Council Chair for FY 2021. The next few months will be a great opportunity to transition to Brian’s leadership and I look forward to his stewardship of the district council. Please take a moment to congratulate him.
The entire ULI family wishes you the best as you navigate through this time. Thank you for your continued support,
Beth Callender
San Diego-Tijuana ULI District Council Chair
